‘ESPAÑA VACÍA’

ESPAÑA VACÍA is an experimental essay film examining depopulation in the Spanish principality of Asturias. Images of empty municipal space, in an area still recovering from the 2008 financial crash, are explored through the words of Alejandro Casona and Rafael Alberti. Members of the highly influential but ill-fated Generation of ‘27 poetry collective.
