‘ABYSS’

Through experimental video collage, ABYSS looks at a collision in the historical and spatial politics of housing in Tower Hamlets, with its new status as a centre for global capital. Distortions of original footage, archive material and 19th Century texts by Jack London, Matthew Arnold and the ‘London Guide and Stranger’s Safeguard against Cheats, Swindlers and Pickpockets’.
