‘TAKE ME TO THE SCAFFOLD’

A short experimental documentary on the The Old Spotted Dog football grounds, the home of community-run anti-fascist football team Clapton CFC in Forest Gate. Originally planned as a record of the concluding first season under fan ownership, the COVID19 lockdown forced the grounds closure and the team into further financial hardship. Through donated archive footage and interviews, members of the community are re-introduced to the space to share their stories and memories.
